Adriano Murania having graduated in biological science, before gaining the violin diploma at the Corelli Conservatoire of Messina, is music therapist at the Messina general hospital.

In 1989 he was appointed assistant deputy leader of the orchestra of Teatro Massimo Bellini of Catania, a position he currently holds. He carries out an intense solo and chamber music schedule, participating in important music festivals such as the Festival of Due Mondi of Spoleto, the Insel Klassik of Reichenau, the Festival of Noto, the Kiwanis International and the World Ibla Grand Prize Festival.

He has collaborated with conductors such as A. Lombard, D. Oren, M. Soustrot, H. Graf and R. Muti, and with the soloists A. Rosand, K. Ricciarelli, A. Bocelli, S. Accardo, the Swingle Singers and P. Amoyal.

It is proudly to his credit that he has made recordings with the companies Nuova Era, Cyclope, Polygram and Bmg Ariola, and also radio television and satellite recordings with Rai, Fininvest and MTV.

He has collaborated for arrangements and recordings with Stewart Copeland, Carmen Consoli, Mario Venuti, Franco Battiato, Paolo Buonvino, Michael Nyman and Claudio Baglioni.
